I love the Wizard of Oz. I have seen it way too many times and I probably will watch it way too many more times.
Since that movie came out back in 1939, it would have been time for them all to be dying off anyway. The aunt and uncle were already old in the movie.

i know I do. I am 33 years old and I used to watch every year on CBS. well i got it for my son when he was bout 2 years old and o my GOd he wore that video out and had to buy another one. so he is now 10 years old and he is the dvd and video and numerous items from the wizard of oz like the nutcrackers, calendars, the throw blanket, different books and the orginal story bout with her having silver slippers instead of ruby, he found a old record album from the goodwill store that has no scratches from back in the 60's, just say this he collects them.

I love that movie!!! Did you know that if you play that movie with no volume and play Pink Floyd "The Wall" at the same time it makes sense? Supposedly the music fits with the movie and they're the same length. I just TiVo'd it so I can see.
Also what do you wanna bet they are remaking that movie very soon!

I just saw that Saturday. U should watch "The Wiz." It's like the black version. It's hilarious. For example, the poppies look like strippers.

Oh KANSAS oh kansas how i love thee! anyway....yup yup yup. *dances around singing "if i only had a brain" then wins a million dollars on jeopardy* but not really

I have never seen it. My husband says I'm probably the only person in the world that hasn't seen it.
