I think Rey is a good champion because know matter what happens or who he fight Rey never back down from a fight he always defined the championship belt the best he can and to this day he is still the Champion.

rey is a great world champion and an inspiration! look where hes come from- cruiserweight division! he deserves it. without batista there he is the only real wrestler on smackdown at the moment who i think truely deserves to hold it. i mean whoelse is there? jbl?
rey has never let the fact he got this far go to his head unlike some.
however, batista is back soon and rey wont be able to hold that title for long. like batista said, whoever had the title would just be looking after it til he returned but i think batista wouldnt be able to have thought of a better person to do that for him! just a shame eddies not around to see it all happen for rey rey!

The only reason Rey is champ is because they want to set Batista up as a heel. Remember the rule when a guy returns from a long time he switches ie face to heel or other way around. Remember what Batista said when he left Im gonna come back for my title. Well who has the title Rey.
As for is he a good champ NO. Cruiserweight champ yes Heavy weight champ no. Plus Im really sick of the la raza stuff which if you understand it is mexican racism.

Considering what he was thrown into, I think he has done well. WWE had no choice but to give him the title.
Besides - why shouldn't he get some glory? He has been there for WWE all the time.

it is nice to see some one get it that can actually wrestle, i just wish they have him defend it againist eveyone like benoit or even psychosis (not to win ) because they would be thrilling matches instead of him defending againist big guys who beat him up until they fall over into the 619

he should be in the crusier weight division. he shouldn't hold that wrold heavy weight title. that title is bigger than he is.
wwe should have weight divisons to at least make it seem like it's real.
