Should they have cut the last 45 minutes and compressed them into 10? Anyone else think so?

yes. It was awesome right until after he threw lex's crystal island into space. But the extended death scene was too much. after about 15 minutes of this, they chose to show that he was not dead by simply showing an empty hospital bed without giving any explanation on how he got better.
also, He knows that he is a father, but dos he step in and be a "savior" to Lois? no! He just says that he will always be around.
also, what kind of savior has a child born out of wedlock then doesn't stick around to help him?

yo they coulda cut those 45 minutes but that wouldnt have saved it realy i mean it had a great story line but for a superman movie in 2006 there wasnt nearly enough action i mean the best part of the movie was wen the kid threw the piano

No, I loved this movie. My favorite Superman so far.

That was a really long movie, but I thought it was really good! "Wait, wasn't there 2 dogs?" ha! funny part!
