How can i change my avatar with .gif avatars?

Unfortunately, you can't at this point.

There are only three options for avatars,
1) No avatar = the gray smiley
2) The yahoo avatar
3) A 360 pic. The 360 pic has to be a jpg file.

The Answers team has indicated that they are looking at other pic upload options, but there is no timeline for that yet.
