One can not know if this is the end of times as the bible tells it. It says the end will come as a thief in the night. So people will no doubt be caught unprepared ans unaware, which I am sure you do not sit up every hour of your life with a shotgun waiting for a break in to occur, so why sweat the big stuff you can do nothing about? If you are living within the realms of what is right and trying to do what is right, then why fear the inevitable? However I kind of doubt that this is the end of time since I've lived through several predicted "ends of time" already.
As long as people exist, then time will exist, as we know it. We "invented" time as we know it, and the time as we know it is not time as God knows it. For all we know when God started his day, Socrates might still be in diapers.
Live long, live well, don't sweat the big stuff friend. Good luck.

No. The "Biblical end of times" is a fantasy from a work of fiction. There is no such thing. However, the world as we know it today will certainly end. One need only look at simple projections of the supply of resources, and the projected demands upon these reources, and it's pretty obvious where we are headed.
Unless......

I believe that the "end of times" takes effect every time somebody dies.
When Hitler was reigning, many thought that he was the anti-christ and that his times her the end.
When WW II broke out, people thought that was the end
of the world.
When men started to let their grow and hippies started
smoking weed and tripping on LSD, people thought is was
the end of the world.
When Heavy metal came out, people thought this couldn't go any further.
Pleeeeeeeese!!!!
Most religions believe in some kind of a Psyco God who doesn't have something better to do than to watch each and every ones every move and take note
of it to strike with death, disease, poverty and every immaginable way of punishment...and when the time comes, burn them in a lake of fire for ever and ever with
deaf ears to their suffering, screaming and begs for forgiveness.
How can religions talk about "ending times" when God's original plan was an Earthly Paradise to be inhabited by men.
My God is not a crazy, weak, undecided God, and he's certainly not a looser. Believing that "times" will end and
that everything will pass and become nothing is like believing that God's Will could not be done and that he lost.

This is humanity, the real uncut version. The bible is just an outlet for one group of people and does not define "the world" since he is catered to a certain group. This is wednesday July 5, 2006.... nothing more nothing less. We have evolved as a community to this point and with perseverance we will overcome our downfalls, without copping out to the bible for reasons, be responsible and live the right life and god would want that.

According to scripture (book of Revelation), we would be able to tell the end of times by things that occur such as War, Famine, Disease etc.
Sure all of these things have existed at one time or another in the past but since 1914 there hasnt been a single year without war!

Technically, the "End Times" began on the Day of Pentecost; check Acts. So yes... however, no one knows when the rapture will take place leading to the Tribulation and ultimately Armageddon.

Dec 23, 2012 is supposed to be Armegeddon. But before that hapens, we're supposed to be hit with nuclear bombs and a comet. Aug 3 2006 is also supposed to be the next terrorist attack according to the bible code.

Humanity is on the brink of destroying itself, and it has nothing to do with the Bible or any other collection of ranting and raving, parading under the name "holy book". Our species has evolved too far, with all those negative traits. That is the source of impending destruction. No Jesus will save you. (If he ever lived, he has been dead for 2000 years.)

Probably not.
Christians have been expecting the end times from the moment that Jesus was crucified. Every generation seems to think it is the last generation.
But again... YMMV
