I was hoping for something a little more profound out of Dr Stephen Hawking.
To be perfectly honest I think his question was a little chatty as well.

What do the rest of you Yahoo's think?

Hawkings question:

thought provoking?

or

lame?

Survey says"__________"!!!

Lame. The universal constants are chaos and randomness; out of the limitless possibilities created by these features comes order. He above everyone else should recognize this fact! Man cannot stop, remove or eliminate chaos. We must challenge ourselves to understand and benefit from this basic characteristic of the universe. Why does he think that chaos is "bad"? His question is shallow and reeks of political correctness! I expect better from this genius!

Pretty lame. I think the same question has been around forever. I know our parents thought they were goners during the Cuban missle crisis, my Grandparents couldn't beleive they made it through the depression and WWI and WWII. My GGparents couldn't believe we all survived the Civil War...etc.

This is very relative, human brain is an extra ordinary piece that when challenged comes out with fascinating solutions.

And dont forget Darwin..we /our race did survive with thousands of years with possibly more chaotic situations..

Good question- but oh, those answers! And a whole bunch of em, too!
I guess if this is a think tank session a more specific question would be appropriate next time.
