He is a coke snorting, alcoholic that has passed himself off as a born again christian. The far right and the christian right bought it. He campaigned on anti-abortion issues and then sends the troupes into Iraq to kill woman and baby's. He passes tax cuts for the very rich and leaves the poor and middle class behind. He actually cuts programs that help give the poor a hand up. In my opinion he is the worst president that I have ever seen and I go back in memory to Eisenhower

I think future historians will have a mixed opinion on that. Sometimes it seems Like George Bush, President, the sequel ( referring to his father), and other times, I see a young man trying to cope with the pressures of an office during a world crisis almost as crucial as the Cuban Missile Crisis.
For the first time since Pearl Harbor, we were attacked on our soil which brought all of our defenses and preparedness under scrutiny, The time of peace was over. Not quite the "Duck and Cover" paranoid period of time during the cold war, but certainly almost as disturbing. He has been subjected to criticism from both the American people, the press, and the world. He has stood his ground in what he believes to be the best path for this country's future. Only time will prove him right or wrong, but at least he has been strong enough to stand his ground and not run.
Lincoln was often hated by his fellow countrymen, but history has judged him a good president. History has yet to Judge George Bush, the jury is still out.

Well I look around at the middle class today and ask: Are we better off now since Bush? The answer is no. Look at his record. He attacked two countries, with no clear objection, or exit plan. He has us Nation building, while people are still homeless on the gulf coast. I have seen him scratch his head twice, thinking about what to do in emergency situations. He took too long to think. He has done some good, no one is all bad. But I ask you again: Are you better off now than before?
Has health care improved? Has education improved. Here in Texas only 50% of the students are graduating. This is a disgrace. So much for no child left behind.
The real heroes this day and time is Warren Buffet and Bill Gates.

Bush has shown that he is not going to take any crap off any country. And for all of these people that think "well he has sent my husband (insert family member there) and gotten him killed" what would you have done. With the way Saddam was acting he had no other choice. When his top adviser's say that he may have WMD what did you expect him to do. I would be willing to bet that the same people that are griping about this war would be that same people butt hurt if we didn't go in and did get bombed. You can't please everyone but Bush is don't what he can to protect our country. When you have NO support from the U.N. you have to do what you gotta do to take care of the problem. The only reason the U.N. wants to do anything with N. Korea is that Russia and China are mad about it and want to tie down Kim. For all of you Bush haters but yourself in his shoes are really think about what you would do. If you are a rational person you will see you would not do alot different.

Many presidents have shown greatness even if their presidency was not great and Bush will be remembered for an area of greatness. His greatness has been his ability to manipulate the press and the people to not question him, believe him unconditionally, and vilify those who question him. Even with so much knowledge of this he is still getting away with it, now with the New York Times as the target. It really is amazing that he has been able to accomplish this, it is his greatness.

He has caused the American people to look like fools to the rest of the world. Also, he has caused the American people to question why the he** they voted him into office. Ahhh, He caused some people to stop and think. Now then, that's a good thing. Is it not? LOL !!!!

Well, maybe the greatest thing is that he has caused us to really question (and defend?) what is meant in this country as liberty, freedom, democracy, etc.
