9:30 would be a good time, give or take a few minutes. I'm 16 and I wake up for school at 6 in the morning also. And 9:30 to 10:00 is usually when I am in bed. Also a little more advice is to have her do her homework when she gets home from school so she dont have to worry about it before bedtime.

My 13 year old son gets up at 6:40 for school (we leave at 7:10), and he goes to bed around 10:00 - 10:15. I don't say anything, if he can wake up in the morning, I don't care what time he goes to bed. That is what growing up is all about, responsibility! I only drove off with out him one time... that will never happen again, that I'm sure of!

I believe, as a mother of two daughters 19 and 17, that 10pm is a reasonable bedtime for a child of 12-13 if getting up at 6am for school. That way the child is allowed eight hours of sleep. Just my opinion of course.

If she falls asleep fast, then 10:00 pm. If it takes her a while, then 9:00 pm or 9:30 pm. - In other words - 8 hours sleep

10 is a good time, I concur. Also, it just so happens that the body releases "healing hormones" durring the hours of 10 PM and 2 AM. When you sleep is when your body repairs the days damage.

i would say at 9:00-9:30. that would give them time to fall asleep and still give them 8 hours of sleep. most children at that age will need 15 min to an hour lay in bed before they fall asleep. i hope i have helped
