LOL! No, he treats his daughter like she can't be her own person. He tracks her down and won't let her talk to boys but in all reality that's just going to teach her to be sneakier and more deceiving. He treats his son completely different and he's younger than the daughter.

No, he's just a macho patriarch who only thinks he's right. One of my co-workers treats his kids the same way.
