Go to your local City Hall or Town Hall. You will need ID and possibly birth records, don't forget to bring your future spouse!! Call City Hall ahead of time to see exactly what they will want before you go to get your marriage license. It'll save time and aggravation.
Good luck!!

Depends on where you live. Where I live you have to go to the county clerks office and fill out the paperwork and apply for the license. Then depending on if you are having a church wedding or getting married their. If you are getting married at City Hall then you have to wait 72 hours it at the church then the clerk mails the license to your pastor, priest, whomever to sign once the cermony is done. Then it gets mailed to you.

Go to the courthouse and bring your ID, your future spouse and their ID. That's what you need in TX.
