You don't want something too male or too chick flick like.
DO NOT rent the notebook. It was so sad it made me cry. It's really really mushy.
Something a little more neutral. I would suggest October Sky. It is about a group of boys destined for the coal mine. Instead, they dedicate themselves to science and become NASA scientists.
A good movie for all men, women and children.

good question. do you want to watch what you want- what you think she might like, or do you want to go with a chic flic, and what chic flics- if any, do you like? "You can count on me," is a decent one. we don't have many options in the library here, but we have the old version of romeo and juliet, and i remember liking that, and then there is this german movie i've been meaning to say, something Zorn gottes... like angry gods or something.
To reply to that other girl about you being a cheap skate: don't listen to her, women are nuts. i want to do something purposeful while i waste my time on them, so i'm going to study while i have to divide my attention towards this girl. I would say rent "The Seventh Seal." and you can always just check out movies from the library for free.

Any of the classics with Audrey Hepburn, like Sabrina or Charade, maybe Breakfast at Tiffany's. She'll be impressed with you knowing something about classics, and you'll be dazzled by the always charming and lovely Ms. Hepburn!

you recognize, I purely watched Memoirs of an Invisible guy and grew to become into questioning how that action picture might've been staggering to computer screen with a woman. yet i'm partial to Chevy Chase and older action picture shares. in any different case, i might might desire to propose the hoop as a horror/secret, or Kate & Leopold as a romantic comedy.

50 first dates or the wedding singer. both are girlie enough for sensitivity points, yet funny enough to not make you appear to sappy for a first date. never go for porn on the first date unless shes a "good" girl.
