I'm a huge fan of his work and have read pretty much everything. Just wondering if there's anything out there that's really good that I haven't read.

My favorite has to be "The Gunslinger" series. Also "Eyes of the Dragon" was also different from his usual style and subject matter. I just finished the book "Cell" which was also good. But my all time favorite is of course, "The Stand,"

The Dead Zone. It had three things most Stephen King books don't:

1. It raised an interesting moral question that made me think for more than two seconds about what I would do in that situation

2. It had an ending that didn't make me feel like throwing the book against the wall.

3. It had a believable romantic relationship in which neither person was emotionally or mentally screwed up.

I'm stuck between Carrie and The Shining. Carrie just because it's cool, and The Shining because it's the first book that provoked an honest emotional reaction out of me.

Tough choice! "The Stand", " Pet Sematary", "Needful Things", or "Thinner". "Misery" was pretty good, too. There are just too many to choose from. Of the short story collections, I prefer "Night Shift."

The Stand - its King's masterpiece! You can't put it down. It's long, but is without a doubt, his best.
