I see a lot of posts with women saying that they're completely against feminism because it destroyed the family unit, etc. Now, I was just wondering do you vote? And, men who are against feminism does your wife or girlfriend or mother vote?
How can you be completely against feminism if you vote? Without feminism you wouldn't be able to vote.

My rationalization is for those who are COMPLETELY against feminism. Not just against feminism, but for a few aspects.

I think they're missing the point.
They think they got here by the "flight of their wings!" They think they got to vote because all of a sudden, men thought it was OKAY for women to vote.
Not a chance. We had to fight for it.
But if we say anything about it, we are pushing a "feminist agenda".
Because they seem to think that if they support feminism, that equals hating men.
And if you are a feminist, you "don't love your husband, your boyfriend, your father or any man you come into contact with."
By them supporting feminism, all their "relationships with men are doomed to fail". This is what they seem to think.
Also, that being "a feminist equals being a lesbian". For their information, not all lesbians are feminists and not all feminists are lesbians.
"I like men too much to be a feminist" is what I've heard on more than one occassion.
What better way to stall progression than to have women at odds with one another.
Welcome to the never ending backlash.
I think I'll go sit awhile in my "feminist corner" and ponder why they are so unappreciative of everything we have done and are still trying to do.

Yes I vote. I'm grateful for the right to vote and get equal pay for the same job a man does, but I do not buy into everything of the feminist movement. I love my husband and being under his protection. He does not rule over me, but there is security in knowing that he is the head of my household and he is responsible for me and my family. Feminism came about because some men (not all men) treated women wrongly. I'm fortunate to have a husband that allows me to have thoughts and opinions different from his. I am a very vocal and opinionated woman, but my husband is not whipped. We have a very balanced relationship without feminism in the mix. The whole feminism movement is lopsided and makes all men look either mean or whipped and I don't like it.

There isn't really much sense in your rationalization. That's like saying if you are against feminism then you MUST live in the stereotypical family unit and stay at home while the dad works and makes all the money. Just because you have one doesn't mean you have to have the other. It's just not the way it works.

You final assertion explains it. some women human beings (and adult adult males, for that matter) become attentive to feminism by way of employing its maximum radical version. some equate "feminism" with "guy hating." to a pair, feminism is the best opposite of what that's meant to be. some women human beings experience that they do no longer look to be allowed to have very own decision, by way of fact feminism thinks that they are making the incorrect decision. "you're a sufferer in case you reside domicile and have babies" as an occasion. the extreme has harmed the reason by employing being extreme. Few women human beings might argue that anti-rape rules are good. Few women human beings might ague that the excellent to vote is robust. yet no longer all women human beings believe that maternity go away is a great difficulty. no longer all women human beings agree that a woman's pastime might desire to be secure for being pregnant. So, even without the radical place, you may desire to understand that one and all women human beings ARE going to agree.

I'm against feminism. It has just made women as bad and as pom-pus as the macho man. I like women's rights, but saying men are devils doesn't make women angels. I don't vote....its not one of my beliefs. this world and nation are going to end as we know it, and no political leader can stop that. There are more important things than who gets to raise taxes and use our money to kill people in war.

1) Perhaps they mean "completely against MODERN feminism".
2) Perhaps they have separated the quest for equality and feminism. Some call the quest for equality "egalitarian" and women who grudge against men "feminism".

It is possible to like a few aspects of a movement (feminist) without agreeing completely with everything that comes out of the movement.

Well, feminism has a trait where it's just chauvanism but turned around.

This is an example of the lack of values of the "moral majority"-- they let everyone fight their battles for them and then take full advantage of that which they did not earn.
