Do you think it's possible to have a fair trial today with all the media attention? (Provided you're on trial for something "media worthy".)

I realize that this is a touchy subject to first ammendment lovers, but there should not have to be a balance between free speech and a fair trial. There should be laws passed where information about a criminal (or a civil trial) should be limited until the trial is over. There are such laws in other western countries. Few people get a fair trial when it is high profile.

I can assure you that had there be no media coverage, people like OJ Simpson and Michael Jackson would have been more likely to have been convicted, while Scott Peterson and Andrea Yates would have been acquitted.

No. Example: Scott Lee Peterson, who, by the way, is innocent.
