Of all the natural blondes (girls) I know, all of them are stupid. That is not to say that every natural blonde is stupid. Of all the male blonds I know, I think most of them are pretty intelligent, with the odd exception.
I think the saying about blondes having more fun might be true because they are like fish and don't remember what they have done so everythign is a new experience! (j/k)

No its just a cliche. what about the irish are dumb, the americans are rednecks, the english have a stiff upper lip? (all of it's sweeping generalisations).
everyone has something they are knowledgeable about and something that they are not so clued up on. but what would be the point in living if you had nothing to learn. everyone has a moment or more when they lose the point of the conversation and 'get the wrong end of the stick'/misunderstanding. those who cannot deal with clarifying to people and get exasperated and call them stupid are actually the unintelligent beings because they havent the brain capacity to be conscientious to other people and how they may work.

Actually, someone answered it the way I would have.
Natural blondes, no.
There is a group of people out there that put looks over everything, and that includes changing hair color. They spend their time taking care of how they look rather than producing anything.
Now a certain amount of personal grooming is necessary. You begin to stink otherwise. But if most of your time is spent primping, um, you get blonde jokes.
And frankly deserve them.
It is really not the hair color, more of a behavior pattern. Natural blondes are just collateral damage, so to speak.

I am a brunette and No, I do not think any blondes are stupid just because they are blonde.

Yes, but they're wrong. Blond is the most popular color of women's hair in America. Many women choose to die their hair blond because men like blonds. That leads to another question. Do men prefer dumb women ? I hope not.

No, its more the people who dye their hair blonde b/c they think people will like them more/ find them sexier if they do. Most people look horrible blonde, especially those with naturally dark hair (Asians, Africans, Indians, ect.).

It's just that a lot of the blondes I have met seem to be missing a vital chromosome or critical enzyme, as they come off as so thick and clueless

depends on what you mean by stupid?!
i work with models, and there was this one time when the (blonde) model could speak seven languages but could not stop on cue! in the end, we put sandbags in the way and told her "when you reach the sandbags, stop walking" what happened next?.. she kept tripping over the sandbags!
so i guess I'm biased toward yes they are?!..
(although i do have blonde friends who are smarter than the average person)
