There is a saying that in order to appreciate health one needs to have experienced sickness. I think this would be the same with world peace. Even if we were to truly create a world with no violence, I think the next generation who had never experienced violence would not appreciate it and could make the same mistakes that had caused violence in earlier generations.

no because no such thing exists. Let's say we branched off into space (all americans go to Mars). Without anybody on mars but the USA, it can be considered 'World Peace', right? Wrong. Americans have never agreed with each other on anything. Abortion laws, Gay Marriage, the DH in baseball, and pretty much anything else was, is, or will be argued about fiercely amongst ourselves and we will kill each other for the sake of argument. Either that or we'll all die of bird flu

I don't think people will ever truly be happy as a whole. I may be the only happy person on Earth today...Humans have a stubborn tendency to actually look for something to gripe about. I guess I'm just blessed with the type of personality to find positives in each situation. "This is the day that the Lord has made, let us rejoice and be glad in it."

Happiness and sorrow are both fleeting emotions. World Peace would be a wonderful thing, so we can focus on fixing other problems like hunger and the devastation of the Planet.

Yes, i do because from a spiritual point of view, God intended it to be that way and as long as the Devil is doing his thing, we'll have these ugly problems. Everything was supposed to be good and right from the start.

yes, but it would take a change of mind and everyone believing in the one almighty God. It will be great because I am going to experience it in the millenial reign of Christ.

No. It is not human nature to go along blithely. We all want MORE of everything. And even if you say you don't, perhaps you're an anomaly, because most of us do.
