You are still growing, so when you hit 13 or 14, there will be a groth spurt. Watch what you eat, do not over exercise, as this could be the starting action to being anorexic.

Please talk to your doctor so you get the straight information.

Sweetie, relax. All of us went through this. All women are at least somewhat self-conscious and many of us are very self-conscious. As you get a little older, your legs will get longer and so will the rest of your body. Those places that seem too big now will stretch out and you'll be very trim with all those sit ups. Right now you are 12 and your bones still have a lot of growing to do. Also as you mature, you'll burn fat more efficiently. 100 pounds is not fat. Just stay out of the mirror and don't torture yourself. You are okay just the way you are and you will become far more beautiful with time -- as long as you don't allow yourself to become petty and immature about it like some women do. Trust me, you'll be just lovely and today you are just exactly as you should be. Go for some fast walks, keep exercising, eat healthy food and just enjoy being you!

I agree that you are too young to be concerned about this. but the reality is that you are still concerned. This could really lead you to an unhealthy life and probably to have bigger weight issues as you grow older and develop an unhealthy view of food.
I felt the same way as you do, and in honesty, I actually thought I was pregnant when I was about ten because of my pot-belly! Although I hadn;t had sex yet or even close to it.
Someday, you will learn to love being a woman. Being a woman is all about having curves and being a little soft. My fiance tells me all the time how much he loves my softness.
I think it would really help you to hit your local library and to look at some Renaissance paintings. You will see how beautiful those big round women are. They really epitomize what femininity is all about.
Your body is changing really fast right now. You need to try to refocus your attention on your health and your mind, because listen up girly- big or small- your mind is your sexiest asset. I guarantee you that every guy reading this agrees!

You're not fat! Don't worry i weigh 104 lbs. and I'm only 13 and a half! And people think i'm skinny! i don't know why they think that so. Anyway, you're probably big-boned or something. Otherwise, you're healthy! I have big thighs too compare to my friends, but it's hard for me to lose pounds off from there because I'm born with a pear-shaped body! (slim top, big bottom) The reason u think ur fat is because u watch the media too much like models and celebrities in their revealing and slim clothes! And don't look in the mirror too much! it makes you think you're fat! Show off your curves! Eat healthy foods and exercise regularly to make yourself feel good!

first of all your young, youve still got a lot of growing to do. you will definitely grow out of this baby fat that you have, i did. also it is never to soon to start working out. cardio is the best thing for burning fat. getting your heart rate up is one the the best ways. talk to your mom or a doctor about what you should start doing, and what your target heart rate should be(thats where you burn the most fat). also eat healthy. all these fatty foods kids eat now days is so bad for there bodys. try not to eat so many carbs like pasta and bread(you can eat whole wheat bread), and potatoes. basically anything that is white has carbs in it. dont worry about it though, your still so young and you have the rest of your life ahead of you. like yourself for who you are and be confident in yourself. you'll shine more if you like who you are and other people will see that too. dont get caught up in what the rest of the world thinks about you, the world has become corrupt. just be yourself.

you are far too young to be thinking about this thing. you are beautiful! everyone in this world is beautiful! stopping putting yourself down so hard! you may weight 100 pounds but you are only 12 years old for crying out loud!!! I'm 14, weight more than you, and i didn't even think about this until last summer! please calm down! i hate girls who say that they are fat but they are really not! they just wanna put the really 'fat' people down even lower! it is cuz of the things that we see on TV and the things that we see in magazines. not everyone have a body like J Lo or Paris Hilton! i wish that everyone can just accept that! and plus MUSCLE weights more than FAT!

You are your own worst critic.

If you are doing situps, KEEP DOING THEM! It takes time to see a difference. Give it a month and you'll look and feel better. Drink lots of water (at least 8 sports bottles per day and make sure you drink half that by noon).

Also, your body is different from everyone else's bodies. Learn to love yourself and everything will fall into place.
You're beautiful! Say it and KNOW it!

=^)

You need to do weight training with light weights... maybe 3 to five pounds... and cardio like walking. Do it everyday (or at the very least 4 times a week). You need to eat healthy, don't try to starve yourself, or your body will try to store fat when you DO eat. Eat at least three meals a day... or better yet, six smaller meals. Again... you need to eat well. Balance your meals. Walk everyday!! Get a set of dumbells (small handweights) and use them to shape up.

Do the bicycle workout. I don't have a link for it, but just search in Google for it. It has absolutely nothing to do with riding a real bike. For the workout you lay on the floor with your back on the ground. The rest is quite hard to explain without visual images, so just search on google for it like I said. I hope this helps :) Feel more confident about youself though!

i'm assuming that u haven't hit puberty yet. the first thing u've got to do is stop being so hard on urself, and learn to love ur body as it is. ur leaning dangerously towards anorexia. read up on healthy eating and excersize. stay active, but *don't* starve urself. start making healthy food choices now, and it'll stick w/u for life. in the meantime, talk w/a trusted adult about how ur feeling, and, i concur w/the others, seek professional help w/a trained counselor.
