Yes, it was because of the Weapons of Mass Destruction that were hiding from us over there. Sneaky little devils! I believe they are holed up in an oil well someplace over there.

Bush's administration is in favor of a pre-emptive war strategy, meaning that if he thinks another country's enough of a threat we'll blast them before getting blasted ourselves.

According to Bush, Saddam's Iraq had all the requirements of a country threatening enough to turn into a parking lot.

A lot of people doubt this decision because Saddam didn't actually have connections to terrorist network Al-Quaeda. Also, it took us about ten minutes to stomp on Saddam's ground forces. So some people are like, "if he was such a threat, how did we topple his regime without hardly any casualties?"

Now we're fighting because there's more death and strife in Iraq than ever before. We don't want to leave a messy situation (why Bush, Sr. didn't invade Iraq to begin with in Gulf War 1) so we feel obligated to help the Iraqis pick up the pieces.

Bush started the war because he wanted oil or the less likely, he was worried about the people there and saved them from Saddam Hussein by catching him. Now, American troops are still not out of Iraq because Iraq is not at peace. Theres alot of violence going on. If America leaves now, it will be a coward way out. The war was started and it cant end like this where Iraq is still struggling. Hope that clears your question!

WMD, OIL, topple Saddam,,regimen change,, liberators,, the flowers and candy,, photo opt for Bush under his MISSION ACCOMPLISHED BANNER,(over 1000 days ago),, to spread democracy,,, to rebuild their infrastructure,,(schools and hospitals),,
GOD BLESS USA TROOPS
they are doing the jobs they are suppose to do,,, the soldiers have nothing to do with the politics or the misguided and mismanaged government,BUSH said: if you do not support the war in Iraq, you are unpatriotic and your against our troops,, this is lies,,, anyone who uses the attacks of 9-11 or the war in Iraq for political advantage is wrong.

Irag was never a treat to our National Security. Maybe to Daddy Bush's security.
They did not have 1/10 the capability that North Korea has and North Korea actually have WMD's. Why are we not terrified of them also? No oil - ummmmm.

some people in Iran caused 9-11
we went to Iran
those people went to hide in Iraq
you can see where that lead to
mostly kids dying to protect their country
bush sent soldiers to protect our country
iraq is just doing the same
look what it lead to
families dying together
families dying apart
innocent kids who have nothing to do with the war dying just trying to protect their families not knowing that their sacrifice was so meaningful that others greived in their loss
war is just people dying
there is no real resolution

what is a war ? a huge fight where people protect their country
what's in a war? death .... absolute death no one is spared
death is loss loss is eternal suffering

Weapons of Mass Distruction... no... it's... harboring Bin-Laden... no, wait... Iraq is part of the "axis of evil"... no, no... we're "liberators" for the nice Iraqi people... no, maybe we're trying to keep all those self-killing psycho's out of our country by making theirs somewhat livable... no, hold on... so we can have a hand in their oil supply... hold on... maybe it's to inflate Haliburton's income by hundreds of Billions of dollars (trickle-down economics works! -- just kidding... it doesn't)... nah, it's gotta' be to win back our pride after being attacked 9/11/2001... maybe it's something like, justifying the incredible deficit... ah shucks... I have absolutely no idea...

WHILE IRAQ WAS IN REALLY BAD SHAPE ON A HUMAN RIGHTS, ECONOMICAL PERSPECTIVE, SO ARE MANY OTHER COUNTRIES. I DON'T BUY IT IS TO LIBERATE THE PEOPLE.

THEY WERE HIDING WMDS BUT THEY APPARENTLY SOLD THEM TO N. KOREA BEFORE INSPECTORS GOT THERE.

BECAUSE THE ALL "EVIL DOERS" ARE ORGANIZED IN IRAQ.
THERE ARE DOZENS OF TERRORIST ORAGANIZATIONS ALL OVER THE WORLD. ARE THE TERRORISTS IN IRAQ THE ONLY ONES OUT TO GET AMERICA?
