Exactly... SOMETIMES!
Coincidental I would have to say. They are so vague that you can pretty much take what they say and apply it to anyone.

I believe that they may have some truth to them. Take my mothers horoscope for June 15 2006, Libra. The day she pasted away. It read "Sometimes the best part of making it to the top of a steep, seemingly impossible climb is not always the accomplishment, but the blast you can have soaring down the other side. Now is the time to take your hands off the wheel, let out a big WEEE, and let the whole world know you are loving where you are at now!!!"

It may not mean anything to you, but it does to me. You just have to think about the meanings of the horoscope and I believe you will always relate to it in some way.

Horoscopes rely on the same vague generatlities that self styled psychics do. Its a technique known as cold reading. The horoscope might say "Conflict will arise at work." How many days go by that there is absolutely no conflict of any sort at the office? It's so vague that it could apply to anyone, much the same as when the psychic says, "there's someone important in your life and their name starts with J." With John, Jason, Justin, Joe and James being near the top of the most popular names list for 50 years, how could you go wrong with being that vague?

Yes, they're real. They don't really get specific because a horoscope isn't a map to what's gonna happen or what's happening, a horoscope is the way the planets are effecting your life. If you wanna know more about the way the planets affect your entire life you should find out your time of birth and city of birth and get a life chart from astrology.com.

Come on Sweet, we all have things which anyone could use to give a horoscope. Like: you are a bright, intelligent young person, who like to think more of others than you do of yourself. You are helpful, mannerly and studios. You like to learn and are willing to try new things. You see, even though most of these things may not refer to you, they are things which most of us would like to refer to our character. With a little more homework, like looking up your previous questions and answers, I could probably amaze you with personal details 'that came from a crystal ball'. Life is what you make it Sweet, if you work hard you earn good money. If you study hard, you get the qualifications to enable you to earn more money. Money helps you to buy the best food and clothing. So, I hope I have convinced you that it is all a load of mumbo jumbo. Take care and God bless.....................

It's a fact about our brains that we tend to notice coincidences while ignoring the great gray mass of noncoincidental material that surrounds us. "Psychics" and palm-readers exploit this fallacy. Gotta earn a living somehow, right?

its just a general guide. not meant for one specific person. but rather a group of them. this is due to the planetary movements that would influence specific issues that each planet is in charge of.

i don't believe in horoscopes, but i have noticed and believe that our birthday influences our character traits. astrology still leaves room for genetics tho.
