No question. He's a tough kid, mentally and physically. He's lost no weight three weeks after the accident because his jaw didn't have to be wired shut, and thus he has not been restricted to a liquid diet. He's experienced no vision problems, and he's got a strong faith that will help him with the mental fallout of the accident.

Big (nothing) Ben is a terrible quaterback. This guy looks like a drunken lumber jack. I couldn't stand him a Miami or in Lima. He's an Ohio boy that's always had lot's of talent around him. At best he just back-up quality

I don't think he will be the same. That was a horrible and tragic accident that happened. That type of crash would affect most people in negative ways and when you factor in physical play - he is going to be sore and not so nimble. I wish him well and hope he comes back to his old self but he is no Evil Knievel.

He'll be lighter from the weight loss, this is a plus.

Doc says prognosis is good. He's got the best docs, best trainers, best physical therapists and the best meds money can buy...I imagine he'll be great.

And what a hard noggin he must have to survive all that.

He will be better now, before the accident he had nothing to prove because he already won a superbowl, no he has a reason to work real hard and will get better.

No he won't. He won't be eating solid food for quite a long time. He's going to lose a lot of his muscle mass. I will be surprised if there will be anything in his tank come Thanksgiving.

He'll be fine. He's young and in terrific shape. Hopefully he'll take better care of himself from now on and stop giving his fans ulcers!!

i dont expect him to fully recover for a few years, emotionally and physically. who knows if hes facing near-death trauma. he might have a "life is too short" mentality. and defenses will be looking to take advantage of his injuries.
