Blackmail in itself is wrong, spiritually, emotionally, and legally. But, if you have certain information and that person is not trying to hear your point of view, what other means do you have to catch their attention.....?

I'd have to say yes, but there are always the exceptions. Like any case, don't judge the alternatives even if they tend to border a negative side. Without the negatives, there would be no positives.

Black mail is wrong, but should not be confused with an 'ultimatum'. You have every right to issue an ultimatum and as long as you follow through with it, you may see a positive end result. I think both have their purpose and can be used for good or evil. :) You seem like the non-evil type. :)

I'd say it is. People who would blackmail others have no scruples and are often very nasty people.

Definitely feel that it's wrong, because it could come back to bite you in the you know what, when you least expect. What goes around comes around

No. I had to use it with my best friend so that she would get out of an abusive relationship. If you use it in a negative way it would be. I guess it just depends.

Yes. It is immoral, illegal, and just plain wrong.
Another one of those cases where if you have to ask, the answer is yes, it is wrong.

No, some people need to have their crap held against them in exchange for getting something out of them.

The ends do not justify the means.
I would like an example of "positive" blackmail, please.
