they can play a table game, or they can do their hair, or they can watch tv, or bake something. Also, they can ride their bikes.

Why is everyone suggesting such girly stuff - that's all we need - encourage them to play with make up and dress up so that they become even MORE obsessed with their looks than the media is already making them. Oh it is raining, scratch what I said before. It depends what their interests are and what they have access to - they could draw, play board games, play video games, teach each other about whatever they are good at - computers, art, whatever. There isn't a whole lot to do when you are limited to being in doors, and don't have access to anything.

Ride bikes, walk, make a treehouse, build a fort, swim, rollerskate, look for cool rocks, climb a tree, build a scooter, play stick with a dog, make an obstacle coarse, read to each other, watch TV, make sandwiches, bake a cake, roll down a hill, have a contest to see who can hold their breath the longest, make paper planes, go to the library, go to a movie, play dress-up, play hopscotch, play video games, turn on the sprinkler and run through it, do sidewalk chalk drawings, or sing along with the radio.

The world is infinite if you are a kid. I wish I could go back for a day. I would never be bored.

Why not make something for dinner? Make cookies, brownies invent something new! Do a chore for her friends Mom for a surprise, or for Dad. Do some laundry,No reason they can't be helpfull. Go out side and play! Why don't kids do that anymore? Invent a new game!

Most girls of that age like to experiment with make-up and hair styles so you could always suggest that.

How about making some cookies or cup cakes?

Next time they call tell them that if they can't find something thats fun to do by themselves, they can always come over to your place and mop, vacuum, wash dishes, do laundry, or study for the upcoming school year. Thats what my mom used to tell me when i said "I'm bored!" and boy it shut me up real quick.

They can watch acceptable movies, make jewelry, gossip, play video games. Don't let them get too bored or they will wind up online, like I am now, seeing all kinds of influential things you probably wouldn't like!
