My personal place is Alaska Because I was proposed to on a cruise, married there near the sight he proposed in a original little log cabin church with a huge window not far from the glacier there, And we took our honeymoon there as well. Alaska is never the same way 2 times in a row, all the history and the wildlife, walking on top of a glacier that some people could only dream of and then taking off and landing in front of the Glacier and feeling the bluest water and the frost bite of putting your hand in it, but to see a actual iceberg Calve from the Glacier and the loud crack and thunderous sound that is so hard to describe the whole feeling in one package, the natives do though....they call it "WHITE THUNDER" it is truly a trip of a lifetime and draws you back with every time you think about a vacation. And a cruise ship is truly the only way to experience all that it has to offer. Truly a Breath taking Holiday that you will treasure always.

I just asked a similar question before I saw yours!
Anyway, I think that the ancient temples of Angkor in Cambodia are amazing, plus not many people know about them. Its as astounding as the pyramids without all the tourists!
Secondly, Goa is a fabulous place. The people are the friendliest I have ever come across and the culture is unique. Go to Palolem beach and stay in the tree huts!

OK This is going to sound strange as I live in Liverpool in England but my fave place to go is North Wales in the U.K I go every year. It has everything.
I stay in Rhyl and go to Llandudno alot. Its beautiful, open country side, Mountains to go for walks, Castles to go an see, Lots of beaches for lazy days, the weather is not bad either, the people are so friendly, theres loads to do for all the family, arcades, slots, dining out, clubs, pubs, swimming, fair grounds, live entertainment. I wouldn't go anywhere else its perfect.
