depends do u mean the country on average or just and object/ moutain that tall if just a country on average i'd say none but an object in the country i'd say napal

All countries located on the earth's equator. It's those countries that are the hottest and closest to the sun because of the angle the earth is at. Check out a globe.

I don't know which country is closest to the sun, but I figure that Tahiti is probably the country closest to Heaven. (Look on the other side of the globe and find Israel.)

The Earth Rotates Everyday of the year. When winter comes, other countries are closer to the sun. They all share equal amount of sun.

I agree with Jeffrey S, but really, who cares? So one country is sometimes 10 miles closer to the Sun, so it is only 92,999,990 miles from the Sun instead of 93,000,000. Big deal!

depends on the time of the day, and the time of the year... the distance is so small you won't notice a difference... but what gives you the difference is which part of the earth gets direct sunlight... the suns always between the tropic of cancer, and tropic of capricorn depending on the time of the year... this gives you the seasons

On average, equatorial nations are closer, but no one nation is always closest, because the earth rotates, moving one nation closer as it moves one further away each day.
