I don't think the University of Phoenix is accredited. Yes, you want the paper to say you have a degree, but its better to have one from a real university that is known. If it is the online classes that you want, check out Texas A&M University - Commerce. They offer a entire MBA program online that is ranked in the top 5.

I have looked at the University of Phoenix website. You need to first find out if this is an actual university or if it is a degree mill only after your money. I have a BA and have looked on web sites for an MA. But i was scared away...
look up all your choices for on line education under an "accredited colleges" website and investigate them.
I believe alot of the on-line universities are run by single office chain smoking secretaries with a copier and printer who take your money and respond periodically to all the work you do with prearranged emails...so look out.

I looked at both colleges and chose university of phoenix online. I love it and the instructors are good and cool. I can do it on my time. I love it. Good luck. I even got grants to pay. IM me with questions if you like. They also guide you through with counselors so u don't get lost and fill overwhelmed. I would recoomend them.hmm.. well here's a essay for my class maybe it will help I hope.
I am in Axia College getting my degree online. I am able to attend my classes online
on my schedule. I save gas and time. I can get online check in look to see what’s do and post my work in a forum for the teacher to see and give feedback. It all works because of asynchronous communication. I have the library at my finger tips without leaving my seat. They are accredited and have my materials online with schedules and calendars for quick look up. If I have questions I can leave them in the forum for student or teacher and communicate through threads discussion for optical experience. You don’t have to sit in a classroom and be ignored by teachers. You have people there 24/7 to contact if you need help. You should look into it here’s the number and website. I take only 2 courses in every 9 weeks and I am fulltime student. I even get grants to help pay.
Threaded discussion: A group of messages connected in forum. Normally, the messages are read and then a person responds to it like a conversation or email. They are connected or “threaded together”.
Forums: a place in the online class where threaded discussion takes place. They can be public or private. They are used to communicate with student and teachers.
Asynchronous communication: You have communication with others by email, fax, threaded discussions in forums because everyone is on different schedule and are not around.
feedback. Feedback is where the instructor gives advice and corrections to the students work or comment to make sure they understand what is happening in the course and what they are taught.

No way. News is something that should never have a price on it, it's just websites and companies that are far too greedy. This is one of the main reasons why I use the Herald Sun website a lot less than what I used to, I only read full free articles on there, and any articles that do have a 'price-tag' on them, I just go to another website. You pay enough for actual newspapers let alone paying online as well.

Hi there...
I did attended university of Phoenix about 2 years ago. I started my master degree with this uni. I was really satisfied with the on line classes and the discussions. I enjoyed being a student there. To me, it's a good choice for studying.

I know people who used Phoenix Online. It got the job done. Nobody cares where you got your BA from, just as long as you have one.
Univ of Phoenix is NOT a degree mill. They are a business, of course, but that business is education. They are the largest private university in the world. They are the REAL deal.
And yes...they are accredited.

I think one of my guidance counselors did doctoral work with Phoenix, or some other distance learning. My Econ teacher did as well. I forgot what ones they did, but I know the GC had a lot of trouble with hers. Sorry I couldn't help more.

i agree 100% with tabor. Phoenix is not an accredited college to most employers. Go to a real college.
