Never. If you support this institution, you yourself would be giving the beast what it wants. To dominate, rule, and have evryone take his mark in order to survive. The chip is known as RFID, and there are many U.S. companies already using it to track sales. Wal-mart is being sued for putting these chips into feminine hygene products and tracking where they went to. In Fort Worth Texas, there is a manufacturing plant for these chips. Highly secretive. Noone talks about it. AND here's a good one. If you haven't heard of the National I.D. Act. Look it up!! On May 11, 2005 George Bush signed a bill that says by 2008, everyone in the U.S. will have a national I.D. But its worse than that. You won't walk into an airport, get a job, open a bank account, and many worse things. Sounds like the chip and the I.d. are the pre-cursor to the mark if you ask me.

Depends on what I'd use it for. Rumor has it that Bill Gates has one, that tells his house to unlock doors, turn on lights, etc. when he walks into the room. Implanted smart chips as the sole future currency? Not likely: exchanging favors, the barter system, scrip, poker chips, etc. are all lively and well as currency even though none of them are legal tender.

Sounds like you've been listening to some scaremongering preachers, dear. Calm down, by some peoples' interpretations we passed through the bad events of the Book of Revelations a thousand years ago....

These chips are becoming quite common. They were originally seen as something that could be stuck to parcels, cartons and the like and be read by machines to send them to the correct place. Their use for this is now quite widespread.

Some companies with a requirement for high security have their employees implanted with them so, for instance, only they can access.

There is a need for serious caution though. These chips are read by small detectors as the person passes by. These machines are becoming more common so it would not be long before big brother really could be watching you.

I'm trying to figure out why you would think some kind of chip means 666...

I'm a devout Believer, and all, but I really don't see the link between those two things, sorry.

Despite this, I don't know if I would get it. It sounds a bit creepy.

NOOOO! i always say that you have two choices in life:
Security or Freedom. I like my personal space, I don't need the world trying to help me or solve my problems.
(oh, but I agree with the 'it's not the mark of the beast argument', and maybe in a different time I would get, but here, now, to many potential eneimies out there.)

I believe if you are a good person you have nothing to fear and it could be very protective. If you are a lying politician or a hardened criminal you might be worried about being subject to a permanent recording device

Probably - I mean very few people care where I am anyway. People totally over estimate how much the government or what ever really care what you are doing.

Yes, I would. By the way; ask any religious scholar and he'll tell you the Antichrist was Nero.
