CALL "HP SHOPPING" 877-652-5076. I BELIEVE THEY MAY BE ABLE TO BUILD A LAPTOP JUST THE WAY YOU WANT IT. I KNOW THEY DO IT FOR DESKTOPS. PLUS THERE IS NO TAX OR SHIPPING CHARGE. SOME PEOPLE SAY ALL COMPUTER ARE THE SAME ON THE INSIDE, BUT THE QUALITY OF SERVICE IS WHAT REALLY MATTERS AND HP AS ALWAYS DONE RIGHT BY ME. I ORDERED MY CURRENT COMPUTER(AND 2ND) FROM THEM AND IT WAS GREAT.

Personally if your not using it for games i would recomend a HP. Under £500 but with good specifactions (1.6Ghz nd 512mb ram). I wouldn't get a DELL. I think Dell are not as reliable for HP, eventhough they are quite a bit cheaper

Whatever you decide, if you buy an extended life battery, some computer makers design them so they stick out by 2 inches. Call before placing an on-line order to check this if it would be a problem for you.

If money is no object to you. Then consider the following: buy the fastest computer, lots of RAM, big monitor with speakers, biggest hard drive.
