Well many living beings suffer disease. However I think humans and also their domesticated animals like cats, dogs and livestock suffer disease more because of unhealthy diets and food additives.

They don't call it the BIRD FLU for no reason, it affects birds.
They don't call it the SWINE FLU for no reason either, it affects swine.
The West Nile Virus affected animals that would get bitten by infected mosquitos.
Rabies affects skunks and dogs and anything bitten by a rabid animal.
In Africa, there is a virus specific to monkeys that acts the same way that the Human Immuno-defiency Virus acts on humans.
MAD COW DISEASE, they didn't call it that for no reason either.
And all animals, and I would know from all the dogs that have gone under the care of my houshold, that sometimes they catch a cold or something. Occasionally my dog gets an upset stomach and he'll eat grass to help himself throw up whatever's bothering him.

And there are plenty of diseases that infect plants, although I can't really think of anything specific.. there are molds and parasites that attack plants.. oh there's a virus called something like the Mosaic Virus or something, where it causes the plant's leaves to break out in mosaic-like spots.

It is not true. Trees have diseases. Dutch elm disease wiped out most of the elm trees about 50 years ago. Dolphins and fish have diseases. Birds have diseases. Most every species has diseases. You probably haven't studied much biology to learn this. Try watching PBS.

Get yourself back to school and get a proper education -- special emphasis on Science.

We're not. Animals of all species can get disease. Cats and dogs can get cancer and forms of aids. Animals can get a lot of the same things we can get.
