I guess it depends on what you consider overweight. I am 5'3" and weighed 182 pounds at the time of conception. I am not the skinny type but I could be slimmer. But to give you an advise, if you are very overweighted you should work on it, it would be much more healthier for you and your baby to not have a lot of extra weight on you. You can start by exercising, remember once you get pregnant you cannot diet anymore so just take care of yourself first.

Yes, twice. The second time around, I had to try a lot harder. I never had to have medical intervention, though. Make sure you are in good health before trying, though. (Yes you can be overweight and be healthy at the same time)
Go on a diet and lose 5-10 lbs. Something about that will help a lot.
You can watch your cycles and pick the right times to go about it.

I was 310 when I got pregnant with my son. It took me a year and a half...not because I was overweight...the depo shot had stopped ovulation. I was monitored carefully, and ended up losing weight while pregnant. I had a totally uneventful pregnancy. I delivered a healthy 8lb 4 oz baby boy.

Yes i started overweight at 235 and it wasnt no time and i was pregnant.

A girl I know got pregnant in 1 month. She did have a miscarriage though. I dout that it was due to her weight because I had one as well. Just eat right...you'll be preggers before you know it!

Yes, I did within a month and a half. Still good to take care of yourself and do the best you can to be healthy so you will have a healthy pg.
