It's not that hard to fake a death, seems he made a sizeable donation to the hospital he happened to be in not too long ago. Unfortunately, the record is sealed as to exactly how much. It's not like he would have actually done that much time anyways.

Another theory is that with the Democrats taking Congress in September, Bush and Co need to silence potential witnesses before their criminal trials begin. Their idiots if they think they're not going to be indicted the second they lose control of part of government. Meanwhile, some repug who's had his head up his **** for 6 years is gonna ask me, "What crimes are you talking about?" instead of doing a little research. Won't take much, I promise.

That was my initial thought! It wouldnt matter if he is dead or alive. He would never have spent time in prison probably and Bush would have pardoned him anyway. Now all of those people whose money he stole will never be repaid any portion of what they are owed.

I cant help but think about the 72 year old man who lost every dime of pension when Lay & Skilling robbed Enron employees blind. He had to go back to work and was making only $7 an hour.

Rush Limbaugh not being charged with anythin on the Viagra that didnt belong to him; a clear violation of his parole.

Looks like the rethugs are having a good day! These upstanding Christians must be really proud.

Now I expect some good old Liberal, Clinton hating bashing...the exact thing that repugs do when they are confronted with anything...go on the attack.

Because of the ramifications surrounding Mr. Lay, I understand, before they could move the body, the F.B.I. had to be notified. I too didn't believe in his death.......I had to believe when A.P. confirmed, allot of people would be skeptical.

Go to his home for the funeral, maybe when you see him lying in state, you will believe then!
