he can call the local sheriff's department to find out if he has a warrant. If he acts like an adult, and not a smart-aleck-know-it-all-kid... he can explain the situation over the phone to a sheriff, then make arrangements to turn himself in on the warrant.

once he proves he had insurance, it should all " go away " as a big misunderstanding.

Okay, he needs to go to the police and find out if he has a warrant. If he does, he should turn himself in. Chances are that he will be released from custody the same day (since the violation is so minor). Tell him to bring his proof of insurance with him to show the judge!

call the court, they'll probally tell him to come and "turn himself in." don't put this off!! since it's just a ticket they'll probally just make him pay a small ($100 ususally) bond right there. bring the proof of insurance as well. if the bench warrant hasn't been issued yet you might be able to make this go away.

My advice is to conquer the opt to the draw. In maximum states, at the same time as a baby is less than 18 years of age, the father and mom have the right to "revoke" the youngster's license. Take his license at contemporary, and tell him how lengthy it's going to be until eventually it really is lower back (I advise a minimum of six months). advise the choose of this action in courtroom, and convey the license on your possession. enable's settle for it, it really is the very least punishment you should levy on your son. in spite of everything, you had one value ticket decreased, and he truly has rubbed your face in that. He sounds like an somewhat disrespectful youthful guy. through revoking his license, you could keep your self some money, and also you could keep your son's existence. He needs to study that society has regulations, and that there are effects for breaking those regulations.

If your son is old enough to get a ticket and not responsiable enough to show up for court, why are you worried about it? Let the big boy, big a big boy and get himself out of trouble! Just get an attorney!

Turn himself in, they will catch him either way. Bail will only be like a 100 bucks maybe 200 or 300....Tell him missing a court date is one of the stupidest things you can ever do.

Right now he should call the clerk of courts to figure out what he should do right now.

Or call the police and ask the questions, they will help you out.
