who is saying something is wrong with that? I commend you for all of your efforts and not being a quiter OR a leach off of the system.

It's life. I am a single, hardworking mother too. I enjoy being single. Men are like hemroids, they sick on your a_ _ and are always hurting you. lol. They just don't have any respect for women. You are doing just fine by yourself. I wish you and your child/children all the happiness in the world.

Nothing. Absolutely nothing. I do that now. AND I'M A GUY!! I applaud you.
BTW, it sounds like someone really got to you with a some comment. In all that you do in the course of your day, don't forget you. In many ways, you are more important than your kids. Why? If you are not happy or well, it will affect your relationship with your kids. It always will. So take care of yourself, okay?

There is absolutely nothing wrong with it. My sister has been single for many years. She did such a great job raising her son. I really admire the sacrifices she made and how she really devotes everything to him. She has a job, and bought a small house. She is so independent unlike me who has had a hubby all my life.

Who said there's anything wrong? As long as you're doing a good job and not harming anyone, why not. Besides, what's the alternative?
