I DL the exe file from Macromedia's website and when I run it, a box opens that looks like it is installing the plugin. It even prompts me to close any open Firefox windows. However, when I reopen Firefox and try to access sites that require Flash, it does not work. HELP!!!

Make sure that you are not using either the Flashblock and/ or NoScript extension, either one will block flash meda. If you are using either or both extensions then you need to add the websites to the whitelists. Make sure you downloaded and installed the latest version of Macromedia Flash Player for Firefox (i.e. Macromedia Flash Player for Windows Firefox version 9.0.16.0). The download link is http://www.adobe.com/products/flashplayer/
