I prefer family guy, but i wanna see someone give me a great reason for family guy or persuade me to go to south park.

Family Guy is so much better than South Park. Any day! Family Guy has funny original stuff. You can watch it over and over and catch things you missed before because there is SO much! Every character is different and funny in their own way. There is always something new and fresh.
South park is funny at some points, but it gets old and boring. Their characters all sound the same. It can never be as good as Family Guy either.

Have you seen the episode of South Park that deals with Family Guy? Cartman flips out b/c someone says he must love Family Guy, since it uses the same kind of humor as he does (sneakily calling Family Guy a ripoff of South Park), and Cartman goes into this monologue about how his humor is contextual and related to what's going on, whereas Family Guy, while funny, is just random jokes that a writer thought of and sorta kinda tied into the plot. I like Family Guy and I <3 Seth Green, but South Park is the winner for me, Matt and Trey are so funny.

Although I love Family Guy, I think South Park wins for creativity. They're able to have an actual plot and can satirize ANY serious current event and make it hilarious. That takes not only comedy smarts but political smarts too. Family Guy tends to get carried away with random flashbacks and thoughts.

I love both of the shows but South Park is very predictable. With Family Guy, it always keeps you guessing and new topics just pop out of no where. It's funny and keeps you laughing till the end!!

I hate Family Guy, my stomache churns when I see a commerical for it. Me and Family Guy people do not get along. I hate Family Guy, lol. Death to Stewie!

South Park..I absolutely LOVE how they take the most contraversial and mundane topics and tear them to shreds! I also love their outlook on the celebrity/Hollywood scene. Two thumbs up to SOUTH PARK!!! I love how they ended Chef..Matt and Trey, keep'm coming!!
As for Family Guy...eh...it's something to watch.

Family Guy is the funniest, great characters, especially Quagmire as the sex obsessed neighbor.
South Park is too "flat" and "outdated".
