You could be dehydrated, so try drinking plenty of water.
Another method I've heard is to mix gatorade with warm water and to drink that.
Your headache might also be caused from lack of sleep or bad posture, so watch for those things.
It's happened to me a couple of times where I'd get a headcold because I left the fan on in my bedroom when I'd go to sleep, but its symptoms would be like a pounding headache deep inside my head, so I don't know if that would be the same thing as what you're having. You might want to check to see if it's a cold that's showing up as a headache.

I once read about some chinese hand massage that works, and you can do it yourself. Supposedly, if you massage the "web" skin, tendons and muscle in between your thumb and pointer finger, it can relieve headaches. I've tried it, but I'm not too convinced it works. Yes, my headache goes away, but that could be a result of combining the massage technique with other things too (getting away from noise, taking medications, etc.)
Hope it helps some :)

Sounds like migraine or cluster headache. As I've been advised by my DR. - avoid caffeine, it's a temporary fix but not good for you. Call your DR for an appt. to prescribe RELPAX or IMETREX. and drink water.
Smash your foot and your head won't hurt as much.

You probably need to go to a neurologist with an accurate headache history. You could have migraines since they are usually on one side of the head.

Maybe this will work. Try a nice hot glass of chamomile tea(herbal tea) and take it easy. I hope it works and gets rid of your headaches and if it doesn't best of luck to you on getting rid of them.

My chiropractor told me to use an ice pack on the area of the headache. It really works by shrinking the swollen vessels that are throbbing causing the headache in the first place.

I have the same thing you have. It might be Migraine.
There are some food you should avoid, and exercise may help.
Look at the link below for more alternative approaches.

I used a herb called "fever few" when I got them everyday, but I also knew what was causing them (my boss). The herb dilates the blood vessels in the head, they really worked for me, but you might want to check with your Dr. first.
