clean your face

I love that answer, exactly what I was going to write. Go to a dermatologist, don't listen to all those advertisements and media junk. Acne is hugely misunderstood by teenagers. There are several types of acne, and your might get worse if you put all those medications on your face. Get professional help, I got it when I was 15, my doctor gave me some pills and it worked great and now I cannot thank my parents enough for that. Btw, my dermatologist also told me that the sun irritates the skin and UV radiation makes it worse.

So i went to the dermatologist and they put me on antibiotics, acutane, all that. i have tried most over the counter stuff, and most has made it worse. The best thing that i can recommend is kinda like proactive, well more like a proactive approach. I use a wash that has salisylic acid, then one From avon callend clearskin invigorating cleansing scrub which has benzethonium chloride, and then i use the mary kay benzol peroxcide. Now you can use whatever salisylic acid, and benzol peroxcide, but the avon stuff is the only thing that i have ever found. It takes a little time, but works GREAT. good luck hope u find something that works for you.

Stop doing anything that irritates your face including your soap. This means also not to overclean your face with harsh stuff like alcohol.,

Wash your face only with cetaphil(get from drugstore)

Then use baking soda as scrub 3 a week.

Then use hydrogen peroxide as an astringent 3 times a week to. Be careful here you might inadvertently bleach hair in the affected areas.

I heard Proactive works but it also dries your face out really bad in some cases. Your best bet is to wash your face with a cleanser that contains salydic acid benozel proxide (spelling on those is most likely wrong). Use the cleanser twice a day. I also suggest using a toner and persa gel by clean and clear.

Acne creme, try to get a sufficient amount of sunlight, and wash your face once in a while. I say once in a while, becuase if you wash too often, you'll continuously keep the oils off your face, and the oils keep your skin from infection.

Accutane is a medicine that reduces oil production in your face so eventually all your acne will dry up.

But acne will stop when you grow out of it.

i recommend seeing a dermatologist. i used over the counter products for a long time but nothing seemed to work and i finally asked my mom to take me to a dermatologist. he has helped improve my skin sooooo much. i would have never believed it would ever look this good. i have a prescription pill that i take once a day, i wash my face twice a day, and put on moisturizer after i wash my face. it can help a whole lot.

Besides dietary change, including minimizing meat and dairy products, regular saunas or steam baths can really help with skin problems as that helps unclog your pores. It also helps to treat your skin to a moderate amount of natural sun every week.
