I'm not sure you can as there are too many ways into your house.
My solution was to attack train one of my dogs to come and find me if I call 'spider', and then chew and trounce it to death with the 'kill' command.
She's 100% effective and now find that one of my other dogs joins in too!

You can't stop them coming in as they will always find a way into your house, they actually are a good thing as they keep the flys at bay. The average 3 bedroomed house has at least 300 spiders in it.

Seriously consider putting up mosquito netting at the windows. I live abroad and this stops every insect entering the house.

I purchased some raid outdoor indoor spray and sprayed the perimeter of the windows. As long you repeat it every few days, they should stay away. Works for me, and my condo backs right up to the woods. Good luck

Get some fresh eucalyptus plants, they hate the smell. We put it in our basement & it works. Never see the creepy little guys since.

get four little cotton balls...wet them with witch hazel, from the drug store, put one cotton ball in each corner of the window, re-wet the cottonballs when they dry out...works great in cabinets too...spiders hate the witch hazel.
