1. Can be played w/ as many people as you want, but usually about 5 is max, then it gets to stuffy.
2. One person "breaks", shooting a three and everyone else looks for a rebound. If he/she makes the break, 3 points are awarded.
3. If you make a shot you take freethrows. If you successfully makes three in a row then you take the ball up top.
4. Tips: Depending on what rules you are playing by, a tip consists of someone missing a shot, and you catching the rebound while off the ground and scoring(all while in the air). Tiping someone puts their score to 0.
4b. In some versions, you may only tip on freethrows.
5. The point of the game is to get to 21 points. Field shots, which include three's, are all worth 2 points, freethrows are worth 1, and the break is worth 3. If you get to over 13 points, if some tips you, you only go back to 13, not 0. However if you have 13 points or less, and are tipped you go to 0
6. The only way to be removed from the game is if you have 0 points, and someone successfully tips on of your shots.
7. The only way to get back in a game, is to catch an air ball.
8. There are basically street ball rules to how you may handle the ball: There are no out of bounds, no fowls, and no technicals(or at least i've never seen a technical called, as there are no ref's) The only rules you must follow: you can not travel, double dribble, or ups-and-downs
Also don't be stupid and knock people down or like block a shot, but take out both of the person's arms too. You know, be respectful.
9. If you reach 20 and are not shooting a freethrow. That means that you must shoot a 2 point shot. Once you make that shot, you go back to 13. You have to get exactly 21, any more and you go back to 13.
10. This is more of an unwritten rule of the game: If you have just shot the ball, regardless of wheather you make the shot, you are supposed to guard who ever gets the rebound. This also applies to if that person makes a shot and is shooting freethrows, he is still you responsibility
