Is it true that he is gonna get a 5-match ban from FIFA?

I heard that he has to apologize to FIFA, because he apparently blasted them for some reason, after the match.

Possible and I hope so .....
He got a red card and not a yellow red card. If you get a yellow red card you just get banned for the next match. For the red card you might get banned for a few games or a few month.

why would he get a 5 match ban? he got a red card just like any other player an would only be suspended from his next game

I read his statements today in which he said he didn't know why he go the red card, as he didn't do anything wrong. He just lost his balance and stepped on the player on the ground. So, according to him, he doesn't have nothing to apologize about.

... everyone knows of his bad temper ... it will be tested for his entire career ... sadly to his detriment if he does not learn to control it ... he is still young ... hopefully he will mature ... eventually

that's just rumours... don't think rooney will be ban for 5 matches as the foul wasn't intentional.. cheers!
