It all depends on whether you honestly want to be with that person, or if it's someone you have fun flirting with. You chase to have fun and enjoy it. You like being chased when you're thinking about getting together or don't want to be with that person.(Unless it's a player type that thinks himself a gift to women and enjoys seeing what girl can be replaced with a better).

As long as there's a mutual attraction, it doesn't matter to me, though I prefer to do a bit more chasing than being chased.
Then again, as my mother said about my father, "He chased me until I caught him."
