I could care less if all the anti-war activists have a hunger strike. Wow-y'all aren't eating? Let's just give in to whatever you want so you won't starve. Yeah right! If that's how you want to protest, fine, but don't expect results. Bush isn't going to pull the troops out of Iraq until he is satisfied with the situation, and that's not happening any time soon. As a soldier who is also a sister to a soldier who is going to Iraq for the third time in November, I am so sick of anti-war activists thumping on their drums. Maybe y'all don't get why we're over there, but we do, and to see all this when you come home from war is a huge disappointment. Go ahead, don't eat. It's not going to change anything except your weight.

Yeah....they are going to starve themselves for a few hours then pass it along to the next. What's the difference between that and purging? This is just another way for the antiwar folks to get media attention. Go for it, but hey all of you, do us a favor and donate all the food you don't want to eat. There are people out there with real problems.
So, no I will not be joining their latest form of free publicity seeking.

Personally, its kind of dumb if you asked me. We didn't pull our troops to save the kidnapped hostages....why would we pull them for a few idiots starving themselves?.......its just meaningless to me. I understand people are fed up with the war, but no war has occured without protest or casualties. Its one of the necessities of war. The soldiers are aware of that risk when they enlist. I have 2 cousins over there right now, and I pray for all the troops every night. Thats all we can do at the moment. I support the President, because I think we, as Americans, should support him and stay banned together.....I realize thats not going to happen with all of us, but thats just how I feel. Everyone is entitled to their beliefs. Good question...I got to vent.

GOD BLESS YOU JESSI......I admire your courage for our country, even with all this negative stuff going on from these liberals. God has a special place for you and the rest of the soldiers who are fightning for our sake. We should all be proud to live in America.....if not, move to Iraq. Those people are thankful for our troops......right on Nick.

Let em starve they do not help our troops or our country. jessi B nailed this one on the head.
Sheehan lost her freaking mind long ago and for anyone else who starves themself to prove a point I say you are also nuts. The people who you have mentioned should go on hunger strike until we withdraw. I support them and say stick to your guns, starve long and hard if you want because you are free to do that. I will eat enough for all of us.

I'd support them if they went to Iraq and protested in front of the Mosques supporting the killers.

Of course, they'd be dead long before starving if they actually became a pest there.

that "occupation in Iraq" as you called it, freed hundreds of thousands people from the murderous regime running the country.

I can see President Bush now: "OMG Cindy hasn't eaten!!!! Lets pull out of Iraq, so the torturing, raping, murdering regime can regain control of Iraq, and continue to give aid to terrorists."

Oh, you mean the "rotating" hunger strike where they just hand off days to one another?

I think it's downright laughable. None of them have the guts to do a hunger strike, they're just cry babies - and fools.

No!!!
Eat for energy.
Write.

Inform the masses but I guess it is just easier to starve yourself then educate the ignorant.

You have a nice profile/homepage to reference to.
