Shouldn't it be called a Sleeping Sack? A paper bag is a Sack and a bag with handles is a shopping bag. What do you think??

Actually while we know it as a sleeping bag, there are those that call it a sleep sack. The reason we call it a sleeping bag though is cause when they were first made there was no zipper on the side, you simply pulled them over your lags and slid in. It was shaped like a bag. As time when on they got better, but the name stayed the same. As for who calls it a sleep sack, that would be the military, we still say hit the sack.

Call it what you like my dear as long as others know what you are talking about it will be okay. Though if they don't you will have to call it a sleeping bag.
