George W Bush called this war a Crusade in the begging of the war on terror. This was not a mistake on his part it was said so that it would inflame our enemy and create maxim chaos. This was said so that the war would never end. Nothing these people in our White do is on accident.

Just go look it up under george bush quotes or something like that. I'm not going to do the research for you.

OK I lied here it is http://www.csmonitor.com/2001/0919/p12s2-woeu.html

As I recall, the administration has done everything it can to explain that this war is not against Islam. You're just fortunate I wasn't president after 9/11 because I'd have nuked Baghdad, Tehran, Damascus, Mecca, Medina, and Riyadh. Then the troops would have gone in to secure the oil fields and passed out ham sandwiches to the surviving locals. How's that for a crusade?

Ask again when we have actually declared war on Islam!
Our enemy is NOT the Muslim people! If it were we wouldn't be treating them better than our own soldiers!
If you want to know if the world is safer now that we have declared war on terrorism I not sure, I just know the US hasn't suffered a terrorist attack since we invaded Afghanistan.
So unless your trying to say all Muslims are terrorists, get your facts straight BEFORE you ask one of the few stupid questions that actually exist again. No offense, but I would prefer that people did not blindly allow Propaganda to foam from their mouths. if you still think we have some "holy crusade" against the Muslim people and the religion of Islam, please let me know in an email and be sure to include crusade (crusade war is redundant) or holy war, in the subject

So long as religionshave different beliefs there will be war regardless of it being Islam, Jews, Christians, Protestants, etc. In other words you can't fight a war against dogmatic ideals that are meaningless in the grand scheme of things. I for one don't care what a Muslim, Jew, Christian or Protestant believes so long as he/she respects me for what I believe and doesn't try to enforce their belief upon me. This is where they always come out fighting. With all due respect to you what ever you believe Religion on the whole is a crock and has caused more bloodshed than anything else. Our current "crusade" in Iraq is about resources...OIL...nothing more or less...some Muslims have choosen to say that we're condemning their religion...untrue...our policies dictate that we enforce our democratic ideal upon people that neither want nor understand them. Same as a crusade against Islam? Nah, that's not the case at all...it's just OIL.

No but we are working on it.

But thank God someone else realizes that this is a war against Islam. I can see your sarcasm.

Islam attacked the west and "Infidels", we are just defending ourselves. You may like living in a country where you can be beaten for letting your wife show a beautiful she is or reading another book other then the Koran but we value our freedom of religion.

I don't believe there is a crusade war against Islam. If there is then our founding fathers would be greatly disappointed as we would not have that freedom of religion concept down quite yet.
