I get so tired of people (dumb U.S. citizens especially) that try and heap everything as “George Bush’s fault.” O.K., if you’re talking about Iraq I’m willing to somewhat agree with you on that, but other issues ranging from North Korea to Venezuela are more about anti-Americanism moreso than Anti-Bushism. Americans need to realize there’s a global wave of Anti-Americanism and that some of these clowns are riding the coattails of Anti-Americanism to further their agenda, like Hugo Chavez in Venezuela.

1.) North Korea – They’ve been a troublemaker since the end of the Korean War.
2.) Iran – State sponsor of terror and has provided safe haven and support to Hamas and Islamic Jihad for decades. Their current president has been identified as one of the ringleaders of the 1979 embassy siege. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Controversies_surrounding_Mahmoud_Ahmadinejad
* The Iranian president has often said the Holocaust is a myth and that Israel should be “wiped off the map.”

3.) Venezuela – Chavez had beef with Clinton as well and is now trying to rewrite the Venezuelan constitution to keep himself in office for life.
4.) George Bush is a dictator? I have friends from Venezuela and Romania who will passionately argue against that, even though they don’t care for Bush all that much themselves.

I hear people all the time say stupid crap like “I like Chavez because he’s sticking it to Bush.” Do any of you really think Chavez would have behaved any different had Al Gore won? Point is, these clowns are trying to further their own agenda and when you have Americans taking the side of dictators like Kim Jong II, Chavez and “Mad Man” Ahmadinejad, it’s sad to say the least. I mean seriously, Osama Bin Laden is thumbing his nose at Bush as well, but that alone doesn’t make him a “cool dude.”

Update: So far I'm getting reaaly good input on this issue. Again, let me say that George Bush isn't completely guiltless on alot of things, but it's time everyone took a step back and looked at the big picture. The problems we're having with North Korea, Iran, Cuba and venezuela would have happened the same way regardless of who was President.

Right on man!!!! It really scares me to think that people in my own country agree more with a Hugo Chavez than George Bush. Harry Belafonte and Sean Penn come to mind. Whats even scarier is the fact that people will accuse "NEOCONS" of just following the Republican party when there is a large population of people who get their nightly news from E!News.

We don't blame Venezuela or North Korea on Bush, but he hasn't handled them all that welll either. On Bush's watch:
1. 9/11
2. Iraq war
3. Record budget deficit
4. Record trade deficit
5. Weak dollar
6. Tax cuts for wealthy
7. Failure to capture Bin Laden
8. Angering world over foreign policy
9. Abu Ghraib and Guantanamo prison scandals
10. Spying on Americans (phone calls, financial records etc)
11. Nominating conservative judges
I can go on, but the list is a lot longer than just Iraq

Ahh, you are awesome. The problem is, most people, my countrymen included, have a hard time not viewing the entire world in black and white. It keeps us stupid and backward, and at the mercy of whoever shouts the loudest.
Most people with a working intellect realize that even a stopped clock is right twice a day, and the same goes for GWB

I agree, we can't blame him for everything. Americans are guilty of allowing elected officials to have free rein. Due to an apathetic, un-informed and lazy American attitude many leaders have not been held accountable for their actions, thereby paving the road for even more un-interrupted abuse of authority. Even within my own party I am dismayed and disillusioned. Interestingly enough a very close friend and I were discussing this just evening past, she happens to be on the other side but she to feels the disillusionment. But please, exercise your rights as an American and vote, question and send your issues to our elected. This venue allows us easily to do this making the www one of our most powerful tools to get our voices heard. Peace

What is ignorant is ignoring the affects that George Bush has had on the world views of America. He has played the true American cowboy, arrogant and idiotic, do I blame everything on him, no, but I can blame a great deal on his policies.

He has made himself a good target with all the mistakes and power plays he has been a part of. For his own benefit of course.
