I have just been browsing the Victoria's Secret website as I was hoping to buy some lingerie there when I visit NY City in a couple of months. I was very surprised at how limited their bra sizes seem to be. If you wear a 32 band size you're lucky to get it in an A or B cup, I can easily get a 32D here in the UK, you can get as small as a 30 band with up to a G cup with ease over here.

Will I have this problem wherever I go in NY?

Yes, most US lingerie stores/companies have "limited" sizing. I have not seen many (if any) women who would fit a 32D, much less a 30G, and I've never seen those sizes. Those with small band sizes are definitely limited on not only size but selection, too, which is disappointing for some people. NYC is a big place with a lot of stores, so you may have better luck when you're in the city. Check out smaller retailers, not big companies like Victoria's Secret, and you might have better luck finding a variety of sizes. Otherwise, the answer to your question is yes - sorry!

I think clothes, lingerie, anything you wear is hard to buy in the U.S. I don't know who they are making clothes for here, but most women I talk to, regardless of size, have a hard time finding clothes or lingerie that fit.

32D is a tough size to find...anywhere I've ever looked anyway. It's hard to find anything that fits well, I don't know if it's just the US, but I know wht you mean :) Good luck and have fun in NYC
