You could read in the nude, or do it standing up, so you're not so likely to fall asleep.
or do it in the nude while standing up.. over by that window there, yes, a little to the right. Now where are my binoculars... Could you turn sideways too please?
My sister highlights her books with crayons. I suppose that wouldn't get all over the shirts as much.

Stop highlighting in books at night! Do it in the morning or the afternoon. Or get a good laundry detergent.
