I'm into rock (classic specifically) as well as heavy-metal and techno. I'm also into J-pop/ J-rock!

I am into EVERYTHING! I have an appreciation (and addiction) for music and I honestly don't think I could live without it.
I'm 23 and parents listened to nothing but rock n roll oldies when I was a kid. My #1 love is music from 1958-1974 but I'm into anything, what I listen to just depends on my environment at any given time.
I like to burn my own CDs and I have one with Earth, Wind and Fire, Huey Lewis and the News and Busta Rhymes all on the same CD.
I can pretty much find something good about any type of music; even boy bands and Paris Hilton's new "song" - they may not be my favorites (at all) but I can still respect the music.

There are so many more different kinds of music then those 4 categories. It's really a personal emotional reaction to each different type. Whatever gives you an emotional response that you enjoy is the type for you.

Jazz because it is the ultimate expression of creativity and creating is the purpose (and source) of life....
In a John Coltrane solo you hear the sound of God talking to you directly thru the instrument of a human mind... you can't get that in any other form of art.

Country music is my favorite: its songs that have meaning, songs that are about real life, songs you can relate to, and songs that make you remember things that have happened. I like classic rock for the same reason.

I like all types of Rock and Alternative and stuff like that... I like it because, well, it's rock! What's not to like? I hate rap and hip-hop because all they talk about is sex and drugs and it's really stupid.

Rock. definetily 'cause me and my dad used to listen to Led Zeppelin when I was little and sing along.
