I need to find a career that is booming but is not in the medical field becuase i am bad with science. Maybe something in buisness. What are your suggestions for someone who is not extremely smart but could be successfull in buisness. What types of jobs are out there and what collge is best in California for someone with a 3.60 GPA?
THANK YOU!

Like the first guy says, try to find out what you like doing, volunteer at a hospital, school, local business. I don't want to come over condesending but at 17 you are unlikely to know whether or not you have a good head for business, try it out yes, but having never run a business or even a household as a business you have probably very little experience with the scary worl of money or people management. I am not saying this to make you feel stupid but to let you know how inportant it is to have a goiod understanding of what you want from college. The last thing you want is to have to go back in ten years and regraduate in a completely different field like I did. It costs lots and lots. I am now a graduate twice and its good to know about different things but if i had to do it again I would have gained experience in my chosen field and only studied that.

You have to decide what it is that you enjoy doing first, and you still can do stuff in the medical field without being good in science-it depends on what type of medical stuff you want to do. My suggestion to you is don't worry about being not smart enough or not good in science, but focus on what it is the YOU want to do and would enjoy doing and then you can do anything you want because you will want to do it!

Wow, good grade point, with that you could go anywhere, the key is figuring out what you would like to study first. so go for business you could go to any school and be an declared major until you decide what you would like to study, and just get some electives out of the way..Good Luck to you!

Listen, you are capable of being whatever you want to be. A 3.60 GPA is nothing to complain about. Don't let anyone choose your career for you, good luck.

I would chose a state school/university and start taking the basic classes to see what you like. Then go from there.
