I posted a question recently and sooo many people said they hated country music. I must be a big nerd or something because I am a country music phanatic

I LOVE COUNTRY! I used to listen to nothing but! The people i talk to who think country is evil still think it is the oldie moldy wang and twangy stuff like johnny cash and Patsy Cline.

I didn't lilke country until RAP began killing me years ago, then Britney and Jessica and Greenday. I have found myself in country because there's still some hardworking musicians there who know what they are doing.
I also like true Metal for this reason. Good musicians!
PS: Country DJ's are some of the most ignorant people in the world! If I was really happy all the time or trying to live in denial, country may also just bum me out.

It's a lot better than hip hop and that rap stuff. And it is better than nerdy or punk music too! I love Johnny Cash, Waylon Jennings, Hank Williams Jr. Merle Haggard, Toby Keith, Willie NelsonMartina McBride, Reba McIntire, Loretta Lynn, Conway Twitty, Lynn Anderson, Tammy Wynette and many more. Now this is this guys idea of real music!

I look at country music as the special olympics of the music industry. There are a few that can keep up with other real musicians. The majority will be slow and errant, but you gotta applaud their effort.
Except the Dixie Chicks...they are idiots AND their music sucks.

No ur not a nerd, I love Country Music to. To me other kinds of music are just bout sex,drugs,and beatin women. Country Music (Most of it) everybody can relate to, so i have no idea why people dont like it.

I love country music. I think alot of Reba to me she can sing pure country. I also like Toby Keith. His last video is so funny. I like the old country music to. The old country music is what I was raised up listening too.

It's not so much country music. It's the people who write country music. Reba shouldn't be allowed to breed.

only time I listen to country is when i'm sad and deppressed or when I first start going out with someone. It's just most country out there is love songs or sad songs.

I like country music too, but it's not popular, especially among teens my age. MTV doesn't play much Garth or Faith.

im with lebdog when it comes to true musicians. but country music is an oxymoron. country is horrible!
