A preemptive strike in this case would cause a domino effect of alliances, much like the first world war. This isn't like Iraq, which for the most part stands on its own in the Middle East. North Korea is in an alliance with China and Russia. It sounds arcane, but we must wait until they strike; the devastation would be terrible, but would be nothing in comparison to the retribution by N. Korea's allies.

We learn from experience...Their missel tests will continue to be failures for the time being no real threat. Therefore there's an implied threat that they'll get the missels working properly eventually. It's only in that eventuality that we should take immediate and direct action. We should pressure our "friends" (we really haven't any...even the British actually don't much care for our policies though their government seems to buy into them) into acton NOW! Just remember Neville Chamberlain PM of England during the beginnings of the 3rd Reich.

We sit back and let diplomacy run its course. But we must be ready to attack. Korea is an extremely volatile situation and a this would be the place for a preemptive strike but following Iraq there are to many weak minded people in the US who would not support such an action.

Let Japan lead, if they desperately need our help we'll follow. Japan is WAY more in danger then we are.
Definitely don't wait until they attack us, one nuke could kill hundreds and hundreds of thousands of people.
Let Japan do their thing, diplomacy is always the best way though.
Also, we need to put some heat on China to buckle up against Nuclear weapons in North Korea. China basically controlls all of N. Korea economical wise.

We shouldn't attack unless they hit us first. North Korea is desperately poor, and the great majority of her citizens have nothing to do with these missile launches.

we CAN NOT ATTACK. they will blow our whole country up if we attack them. we need to use DIIPLOMACY.... I have faith that bush can do this thru diplomacy and we won't need to get into a race to build up our arms against theirs
that could be another cold war all over again
